Quiet at first glance. Not shy — just assessing. Risling watches a room before she enters it conversationally, and when she does, the shift is sharp. She argues well, concedes better, and has a habit of switching into Russian for emphasis before catching herself with a half-laugh. Twenty-four, Latvian, trilingual. Auburn hair, green eyes, a wardrobe built on restraint with one deliberate wrong note — a scarf too bright, an earring from the wrong era. She's bisexual and blunt about it. She's also blunt about most things, which is either bracing or refreshing depending on how comfortable you are being disagreed with. She lives around Westminster and walks through St James's Park most mornings, always the same bench near the pelicans. Afternoons vary. She might spend an hour in the Tate Britain gift shop and leave empty-handed, or pace a particular Pimlico street she once called "architecturally furious." She doesn't need a plan for an evening to be good — she needs a thread. One idea, one argument, one observation worth pulling apart. Small talk bores her quickly and visibly. But hand her a real thought, unfinished or otherwise, and she'll turn it over, push back, then return it in better shape than she found it.
